Vehicles - can be used for 6 months with foreign plates. If a client wants to register the vehicle, he has to make homologation of the car, if possible. Tax and duty have to be paid. The client has to check, in advance, if he can make homologation for his type of the vehicle.

Customs clearance is to be done in place of living.

Returnees ( Croatian citizens, who, after 3 years of living abroad, are coming back to Croatia)

Vehicles - in possession of a client for minimum 12 months. Homologation is not needed, but tax and duty have to be paid.

Customs clearance is to be done in place where ID was issued.

Prohibited & Restricted Articles - Firearms, ammunition, drugs, more than 2 l of vine, 1 l alcohol, one box of cigarettes …

Animals

International card with veterinary certificate (from origin country) that animal was medically examined and that is healthy.
Import permit from Croatian Ministry of agriculture
