Italy

If Italian citizen returning or not Italian citizen (who intends to take residence in Italy), documents needed are:

- copy of passport

- copy of codice fiscale

- copy of residence certificate request

- detailed packing list

- letter of reipatriation issued by an Italian Consulate

- autodeclaration (form supplied by us)

For Automobile Shipments:
- copy of passport
- numero di codice fiscale
- original documentation certifying the use and possession for more than six months abroad
- letter of reipatriation issued by an Italian Consulate certifying his/her permanence abroad for more than twelve months.

If not Italian citizen who does not intend to take residence in Italy:

- copy of passport

- copy of codice fiscale

If customer does not ask for residence in Italy, he must provide his “permesso di soggiorno” (permission to stay in Italy) and he will pay for duties (approx 33% on value declared for customs).
